10 foreign investment projects worth $766 million inked in Huai’an

On March 4, Huai’an hosted an online promotion of the third China International Food Expo and witnessed the signing of ten foreign-funded projects with a total investment of $766 million.

Through the video conference, the online event attracted the participation of 20 leading agencies and associations as well as nearly 100 famous food producers from home and abroad.

The expo was originally scheduled to open in April but it has been postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The plan to attract investors and exhibitors has not changed.

Cai Lixin, secretary of the CPC Huai’an Committee, the city will make solid efforts to develop the expo into a top event for cooperation and exchange in the food industry, a professional food fair and also an important platform to broaden opening up.
