Jiangsu making efforts to resume road traffic

Jiangsu Department of Transportation stated on February 20 that efforts are underway across the province to resume normal operation of road traffic to help companies get back to work.

At present, all the province’s 13 cities that have subordinate districts have reopened bus service, which is also brought back to nearly half of county-level areas in Jiangsu. More counties are expected to open bus service again in one to two days. Yancheng, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Nantong, Zhenjiang and Nanjing are among cities that have resumed interprovincial bus service. Passenger service at city and county levels will resume soon, according to announcements.

Various regions in Jiangsu have introduced measures to support the use of chartered buses or trains in order to help workers, affected by restrictions due to the COVID-19 prevention and control work, get back to workplaces.
