The book Oral history of Nanjing Yunjin was launched at the Nanjing Yunjin Brocade Museum on June 7, amid the 15th anniversary of the craftsmanship being recognized as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

The Office of Nanjing Chronicles, the sponsor of the book, interviewed 37 professionals associated with the tradition of weaving Nanjing Yunjin brocade over six years. "The oral accounts provide exciting stories and firsthand information about Nanjing Yunjin brocade. Many inheritors are committed to the craft throughout their lives, and their professionalism is truly touching,” said the editor Wan Baoning.
