Shared Joy in Jiangsu sheds light on Grand Canal’s cultural legacy

The Shared Joy in Jiangsu program on intangible cultural heritages along the Grand Canal, organized by the Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, Jiangsu Provincial Education Department and Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, was aired by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation on December 18.

In the program, foreigner from more than 20 countries, including the UK, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Brazil, Syria and Zimbabwe, shared their experiences in Jiangsu cities, including Nanjing, Suzhou and Yangzhou, as well as their insights and stories related to the canal’s cultural legacy.

This is the eleventh year of the Shared Joy in Jiangsu program, and the second year to focus on the intangible cultural heritages along the Grand Canal. The program featured a fusion of modern development and traditional Chinese culture. It also helps boost cultural exchange with foreign countries.
