Organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, a training program for 12 health professionals from Cambodia was launched on June 28.
The refresher course will last until July 16, with lectures mainly held at Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, Hohai University and Jiangsu Institute of Parasitic Diseases. Cambodian participants will also visit medical institutions, universities and enterprises in the province.
In the program, experts from the hospital and Nanjing Medical University will give lectures on emergency medicine, maternal and child health care, traditional Chinese medicine, and other specialty areas. The program will also include an introduction to achievements in applying some technologies as well as treatment characteristics at the hospital.
