Data shows that Jiangsu’s cultural and tourism market experienced continuous recovery and growth in the first eight months of the year.

The province’s A-level tourist attractions, and key rural tourism villages, night-time consumption zones and museums received a total of 680 million visitor trips during this period, with tourism revenue exceeding 280 billion yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 19.5% and 17%, respectively, according to the provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

To support inbound travels, Jiangsu opened the tourism information service center at Nanjing Lukou International Airport, and enhanced foreign language signage at cultural and tourism venues across the province. Additionally, 173 foreign currency exchange points and ATMs were put into service in the first half of the year.
