In the first half of this year, the railway network in Jiangsu Province recorded a historical high of 152 million passenger trips, an increase of 23.952 million trips or 18.8% compared to the same period last year.

The province’s railway authorities promptly analyzed passenger flow and coordinated transportation resources to enhance travel satisfaction. Over the six months, they operated 127,026 pairs of trains, about 698 pairs per day on average, representing an 8.0% increase year-on-year.

Jiangsu also promoted its tourism resources through high-speed train services, highlighting cultural and tourist attractions, and concerts along the route to facilitate visitors from various locations.
