Jiangsu will organize a series of cultural activities to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival including free access to top tourist attractions in some cities.
Suzhou's 73 state-owned scenic spots including Humble Administrator's Garden and Zhouzhuang Ancient Town will open to the public for free.
Wuxi will waive entrance fees to its 47 scenic spots and offer free bus and subway trips from January 21 to 27. The city's Lingshan Mountain, Nianhuawan, and Three Kingdoms and Water Margin scenic area plan to hand out 3,000 free tickets per day.
All A-level tourist attractions in Changzhou City will offer a 50% discount to group visitors and free admission to medical workers. Liyang's A-level tourist attractions will allow free entry too. China Dinosaur Park in Changzhou has also prepared discounts to group, family and student visitors, while medical workers, their spouses and children are welcome to visit free of charge.
Xuzhou's 43 tourist attractions including the top-rated Yunlong Lake will also waive entrance fees.
In Yangzhou, people are welcome to visit state-owned scenic spots such as Slender West Lake and Daming Temple for free. Nashan Mountain Geological Park in Yizheng City and Baoying Lake National Wetland Park in Baoying County also offer discounts to visitors.
