Flight TR180 from Singapore to Nanjing resumed on May 19, the first round-trip service in ten months at Nanjing Lukou International Airport since last July.
The airport operated about ten regular international flight routes before the lockdown. The arriving flight had 273 passengers and it will also depart with outbound passengers for the island city-state. The current plan is to have one such two-way flight per week on Thursday.
Nanjing’s border inspection agency has increased efforts to ensure effective COVID-19 prevention and control, including assigning more police in the closed-loop management and opening additional passenger inspection channels.
