The Department of Science and Technology in Jiangsu Province and Business Finland, the Finnish government organization for innovation funding and trade, travel and investment promotion, jointly held the celebration for the 10th anniversary of Jiangsu-Finland Industrial R&D Cooperation Program as well as the 2022 sustainable manufacturing field matchmaking seminar on May 24.

The event in an online-onsite hybrid form saw the signing of a renewed memorandum of cooperation. It also reviewed the cooperation and exchange between the two sides over the past 10 years. The Department of Science and Technology of Nanjing outlined fields for cooperation with the European country, and companies from both sides introduced collaborative projects.

Finland was one of the first countries to enter an industrial R&D cooperation with the coastal province as a memorandum of cooperation was signed in 2012 to advance partnership in innovation and global marketing.

This collaboration has led to joint support given to over 40 projects and achievements in green and low-carbon fields. Now in the tenth round, the initiative is selecting promising projects for industrial cooperation.
