Nanjing City in Jiangsu Province has gradually reopened the road passenger transport starting August 26 amid continuous measures to curb the COVID-19 spread possibly through road or waterway transport.
The city keeps in place 30 road exit and 39 entry checkpoints. Arriving vehicles or passengers from a medium or high-risk area need to go through strict checks.
Nanjing first resumed two terminals for long-distance bus services following a comprehensive cleaning and disinfection and will bring back the passenger transport services to other cities in the province depending on the progress in COVID-19 response.
To enter the terminals, passengers need to wear a mask, confirm their health QR code acceptable, and take body temperatures.
