A dazzling high-tech light show featuring unmanned ships, video projection, and a cultural story was rehearsed at Nanhai Park, Nanhai Future City in Yancheng on January 22.

The waterfront show, the first of its kind in Yancheng, uses the “begonia flower” as its main storyline in the 30-minute performance, divided into six chapters and projected on a huge violin-shaped installation.

Meanwhile, 66 unmanned boats equipped with ice screens, beam lights, and laser lights appear in different formations on the water to create a strong visual effect, according to the producer Yannan High-tech Development Zone.

The show will debut on January 25, the first day of the Lunar New Year. Both online and on-site ticket purchases are possible. On January 25, 26 and 27 people can apply for free tickets through online booking, but the price will be 30 yuan ($4.33) each starting from January 28.
