The 2024 China-CEEC Conference on Industry-University Cooperation and Exchange opened in Nanjing on September 12, featuring partnership between Jiangsu and countries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
Nearly 50 representatives from 29 institutions across nine CEE countries attended the event, along with nearly 200 representatives from over 150 institutions within and outside Jiangsu.
The conference featured special sessions on Serbia, Hungary and green technology, where participants held discussions, introduced innovative projects and shared cooperation needs. Universities, research institutes, and enterprises from Jiangsu signed cooperation agreements with their counterparts from CEE countries.
Jiangsu has played an active role in promoting China’s cooperation with CEE countries. In 2022, it hosed the first China-CEEC Conference on Technology Cooperation and Exchange. A total of 60 institutions from 12 CEE countries and China became the first partners of the China-CEEC Technology Transfer Centre, resulting in a number of technological achievements.
