The 2024 Nanjing Software Conference will be held from June 24 to 26, concurrently with the 2024 Industrial Software Supply and Demand Conference, according to a media briefing on June 18.

Hosted by the Nanjing Municipal People's Government, the Nanjing Software Conference will integrate investment promotion, project cooperation, talent exchange and other activities. Participants will include well-known academicians, experts and representatives from software and Internet enterprises.

The event will focus on the fields of industrial software, artificial intelligence and IT application innovation, and will highlight topics including talent cultivation, university-industry collaboration, and the integration of technology, industry and financial services. It will also explore the development of metaverse, blockchain, and low-altitude economy in Nanjing, showcasing cutting-edge technology, innovative achievements and applications.

As the first "Software City" in China, Nanjing boasts well-developed software and information technology services. The sector’s revenue reached 800 billion yuan in 2023, marking a year-on-year growth of 9.5% and ranking first in the province. Among its achievements, Nanjing became the only national pilot base for artificial intelligence application innovation in Jiangsu Province in 2022.

The conference will also release "2024 China Industrial Software White Paper" and other research outcomes.
