The electricity market in Jiangsu Province has reported the trading of 400.3 billion kWh in 2024, including 9.38 billion kWh of green power, a year-on-year increase of 209.39%.

The province’s annual electricity trading volume has consistently ranked first nationwide for several consecutive years. Currently, Jiangsu boasts 360,000 users participating in power market transactions, the highest in the country.

The number of entities participating in green power trading in Jiangsu has increased from about 20 at the beginning to 120,000 at present, encompassing a variety of industries such as energy, chemical engineering, electronic information, catering, and environmental protection.
