After the Spring Festival holiday, the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee and the municipal government convened their first meeting on February 19 to promote new industrialization amid efforts to transform the city into an industry powerhouse and cultivate a robust economy underpinned by a modern industry system.
By 2025, Nanjing aims to foster at least 10 advanced manufacturing enterprises, each with an annual output exceeding 10 billion yuan, bringing the total number of such large companies in the city to 30.
The city commits to supporting manufacturing project valued at over 10 billion yuan with land and other resources. It will provide financial assistance to manufacturing and technological innovation centers newly recognized at national and provincial levels.
Jiangbei New Area plans to accelerate the construction of 10 billion-yuan projects in the petrochemical field and propel the digital and intelligent transformation across all newly established enterprises.
Furthermore, the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, home to 7 enterprises exceeding the 10 billion yuan mark, will ensure available land use for company development and offer a range of supports including investment and finance.
