The China Pavilion at the COP28 climate change conference, located in the Expo City of Dubai, highlighted Jiangsu’s efforts towards sustainable development on December 4.

The pavilion, officially inaugurated on November 30, will host a series of side events and activities in nine thematic days. The Jiangsu session showcased green and low-carbon development practices through sharing, reports, and exchanges.

Participants in the event included representatives from the provincial government and departments, as well as from five cities: Nanjing, Suzhou, Nantong, Yancheng and Yangzhou. Also in attendance were climate and environmental representatives from five regions with which Jiangsu has sister-province/state relationships:  California (U.S.), Baden-Württemberg (Germany), Basque Country (Spain), Chungcheongnam-do( South Korea), and Victoria (Australia).
