The 2023 annual conference of the Cross-Strait CEO Summit, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, concluded in Nanjing on November 15.
Lin Jun, secretary general of the summit's mainland-based council, announced a proposal from presidents of the summit’s two councils, emphasizing the promotion of integrated, high-quality development of industries across the Strait as a shared goal. It suggested deepening cooperation in industry and supply chains, and establishing a taskforce to further the endeavor.
At this year's summit, eight groups tasked with promoting industrial cooperation held in-depth discussions over various topics, such as how to leverage the new development pattern on the mainland and explore the market opportunities.
The groups also organized joint research and networking activities in various fields last year, such as intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, green development, and cultural exchanges.
