Wuxi hosts Chinese Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition

The 14th Chinese Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition opened in Wuxi City on November 17.

With the theme of "Focusing on Dual Carbon Goals and Leading Green Development", the event will include one closed-door meeting, one opening ceremony, one main forum, four ecosystem sessions and one exhibition. The exhibition will highlight new products, technologies and applications such as solar energy, energy storage, hydrogen energy, as well as new energy vehicles and charging piles.

The conference saw the signing of more than 30 deals worth 30 billion yuan. SPIC Shanghai Electric Power and Wuxi Municipal Government also inked a framework agreement for strategic cooperation with a plan to invest 10 billion yuan in building a hydrogen energy industrial park in Yixing. More than 120 companies participated in the exhibition, which included an 800-sqm zone dedicated to Wuxi’s achievements in new energy industry.
