Deals worth 47 bln yuan to be signed at Changzhou expo

The 2022 World Industrial and Energy Internet Expo opened in Changzhou on November 11.

A total of 21 deals worth 47 billion yuan will be signed at the expo including eight in new energy fields and another eight associated with digital transformation.

Changzhou has more than 60,000 industrial enterprises, ranking 16th among the advanced manufacturing cities in China.

With a manufacturing cluster of new energy vehicles, core auto parts, high-end equipment and new materials, Changzhou is home to 32 single-product champion enterprises, highest among cities in Jiangsu Province.

At the opening ceremony, Changzhou also signed agreement with Dalian University of Technology and China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group to jointly build an intelligent manufacturing laboratory, which also starts to recruit an executive director.

During the industrial fair, 161 enterprises showcased their 200 products in the fields of new energy vehicles and intelligent manufacturing equipment. The expo also marked the opening of the 11th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition with the participation of more than 400 enterprises.
