The “Win the Future” Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs held the finals for the North America division simultaneously in Wuzhong District of Suzhou City and Southern California on May 11.

Apart from three contestants attending in person in Wuzhong, the rest showcased their projects virtually from the United States. After three hours of competition, six projects, including a robot for the preparation of intravenous drugs in pharmacy intravenous admixture services, a portable device for non-invasive measurement of blood glucose concentration, and the Leaders Rehab Robot won the competition and also the chance for the global finals.

The North America division received 105 entries, among which over 90% are in the fields of life science and health, intelligent manufacturing and new generation information technology.

Richard Zhou, the first prize winner, said his team is very interested in Wuzhong because the district boasts the most developed industry chain in intelligent manufacturing in Suzhou and also plays the world-leading roles in some areas.
