The China-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum was held in the Science and Education Town, an industrial park in Changzhou City, on the morning of December 23.

The forum unveiled a joint lab of intelligent manufacturing launched by the Fraunhofer IOSB technology demonstration and transformation base and Changzhou University.

The new lab will promote joint research and development, commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and application for hosting projects. it will facilitate the cooperation and exchange between research institutions and universities in Changzhou and Germany.

The base will also cooperate with Changzhou University to boost innovation among university students and organize award-winning teams to visit Fraunhofer in Germany.

The forum was held along the promotion meeting of the China-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Network, which advocates cooperation between the two countries.
