High-tech enterprises in Changzhou City took the lead in three indicators in Jiangsu Province, according to data released by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, the Ministry of Science and Technology, on December 2.

Changzhou led the province in terms of the rate of acceptance (1,148 companies, 66.9 percent), the growth rate of recommended applicants (1,716 companies, up 65.16 percent), and the growth rate of promising candidates (1,156 companies, up 60.33 percent).

The city's government departments of science and technology, finance and taxation have increased coordination and introduced new measures to help companies move toward the high-tech recognition.

The measures include more policy support and incentives in double amount. Big data analysis has also been used for the first time to incubate and support promising tech companies in the city.
