The Yangtze River Delta Digital Infrastructure Summit opened in Jiangbei New Area on November 18 and also unveiled key projects including the Offshore Data Center and the next-generation Internet industrial park (V6 Park).
The Yangtze River Delta Offshore Data Center, to be built in the Nanjing Area of the Jiangsu Pilot Free Trade Zone, will help create a global innovation network.
Liu Dong, vice chairman of the Internet Society of China, said advancing the construction of new infrastructure projects is the necessary way to economic transformation. The integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta is a national strategy, and Nanjing, as an important city in the delta, should play a key role in this initiative, take the lead in forming a new development pattern, become a pioneer in technology and industrial innovation, and build competitive strengths through reform and opening up.
