On July 28, the 16th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress heard a report from the provincial government on the implementation of the economic and social development plan for the first half of 2025.

According to the report, the first six rounds of Jiangsu City Super League, an amateur football league that has captured national attentional for its strong local participation and community spirit, generated nearly 38 billion yuan in service revenue.

This revenue spanned across five sectors, namely tourism, transportation, catering, accommodation and sports.
