Jiangsu Province held its main celebration of the seventh Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival in Changshu City on September 22, with a variety of activities reflecting the technology-driven and quality-oriented agricultural development.

The event showcased an exhibition of low-altitude agriculture, featuring high-performance drones used for crops management, fertilization and seeding. Jiangsu boasts a total of 23,000 agricultural drones, accounting for about 14% of the national total.

The event also promoted a trade-in mechanism, which facilitates the exchange of old equipment for smart and low-carbon ones, including the greenhouse facilities, marine fishery equipment, cold storage facilities for agricultural products, and product drying centers.

The on-site market also displayed Changshu's specialties, including hairy crabs and corns. Visitors were drawn to taste and purchase traditional Changshu snacks and rural souvenirs crafted on-site.
