Companies in Yangzhou City have gone all out to boost market supplies as demand for fever drugs and masks surges after the shift of epidemic control measures. 

Workers at Sanyao Pharmacy, a well-established brand in Yangzhou, have been working at full pace to produce Ibuprofen oral suspension for children and ensure the supply to the local market. 

Tang Shiqing, deputy general manager of Sanyao Pharmacy, said the company makes 40,000 boxes of Ibuprofen oral suspension and 20,000 boxes of ambroxol hydrochloride tablets per day and has reached its capacity. 

The provincial and city authorities have sent task forces to the company in order to support the smooth operation of supply chains and efficient production. It has delivered the first batch of medicines to Nanjing and Yangzhou. 

Yizheng Chemical Fiber has resumed a number of meltblown fabric lines since mid-December, coordinated the supply chain, and also improved quality control in producing materials for KN95 or N95 masks. The company now has a daily fabrics capacity for 3 million masks and is ready to expand the production capacity.
