Changzhou has declared an emergency response against COVID-19 on November 3 after finding one asymptomatic and three confirmed cases.
The city mobilized 2,128 members in 360 epidemiological investigation teams to finish the tracing of 74,471 contacts, who all took nucleic acid tests. Among them, 37,293 people already got the negative test result, and other people are still waiting for the result.

Mr. Liu, who lives in a neighborhood placed under quarantine, said everything is in older and volunteers help deliver meals to residents affected by the restriction. Families under quarantine could have their daily necessities met in a timely manner.
The city has 37 quarantine facilities with 4,790 rooms in total, among which 21 facilities with 1,848 rooms have been put into use.
Changzhou has set up check points at airports, railway stations, ports and 32 expressway entrances and exits, and 34 national and provincial highways as well as county roads. For example, the Xuejia and Longcheng Road toll gates are under 24-hour control to curb the spread of the pandemic.
In the emergency response, Changzhou has formed a supply network of key companies and kept a close eye on the stock of essential goods including rice, flour, vegetables and cooking oil. The city has also increased market monitoring, such as the price changes, and coordinated supermarkets, online retailers and farmers' markets to ensure a stable market supply.
Yin Dandan, director of a Walmart supermarket in Changzhou, said the supermarket has sufficient supply of daily necessities with stable prices.
