Zhonglou District in Changzhou City launched its self-developed online reservation system for vaccination against COVID-19 on April 19, a great solution to reducing the queuing time for residents.

The system collects information of the demand for vaccines, uses Big Data analysis to improve decision-making, such as preparing the enough supply of vaccines, and also makes it easy and efficient for the public to make appointments and get vaccinated.

The system includes comprehensive management functions of the vaccination site, vaccine distribution, appointment, groups and individuals. Users can scan a QR code to get real-time information of where and when to get vaccinated most easily. For those who can’t use the mobile app, such as the elderly people, the district has sent volunteers to provide assistance.
