Organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Health Committee, medical professionals across the province have raced against time to assist nucleic acid tests of COVID-19 and treat the cases in Nanjing City.
The city launched an all-inclusive nucleic acid testing campaign on July 21 after 17 airport workers tested positive for the virus.

By 22:00 on July 22, 1,363 medics from hospitals under the administration of the provincial committee joined 1,914 counterparts from Jiangsu’s cities that have subordinate districts to carry out the massive testing. In additional, nine medical experts went all out to guide the testing and treatment. Many of the professionals had the experience of working in pandemic-hit cities in Hubei Province.
