There are 28 badminton courts and one event hall, a mix of two standard basketball courts and two half-courts. The swimming section contains a standard pool, a training area and a section for children. Also in the planning is an 11-a-side outdoor football pitch.
The complex has made an extensive application of digital technologies to improve user’s experience, such as the use of face recognition for the swimming pool’s access control, smart lockers, automatic light-control at basketball and badminton courts, and smart passenger flow analysis.

Once on the smart track, a runner can find data such as the running distance on a large screen and check the workout records by scanning a QR code.
Li Yaocun, business manager of the complex, said the smart track will incorporate an incentives system so residents can transform the workout data into gifts, such as coupons, vouchers and fitness supplies.
The outdoor basketball court will be open free from 10:00 to 18:00 every workday. The complex also provides beneficial treatment to the disabled and elderly people. Meanwhile, the 24-hour smart gym will be put into operation in August.
