During the visit to Zhenjiang and Yangzhou cities on March 30 and 31, Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Committee, stressed measures to prevent the rebound of the epidemic within the province and prevention of imported cases and also called for accelerated efforts to bring life and business back to normal.

Lou first visited Daqo Group, which provided electric equipment to the rapidly-built field hospital Leishenshan in Wuhan City, the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak. Lou encouraged the enterprise to continue innovation, improve the industrial chain, and provide strong support for China's major infrastructure construction.
After the outbreak of the epidemic, Yangli Group was fast to develop the mask manufacturing equipment and has several production lines in full operation now. At the company, Lou said it’s important to speed up development in the midst of crisis and keep improving core competitiveness through innovation.
Lou went to Lixin Village in Xinba Town of Zhenjiang to inspect the local housing conditions. He called for trailblazing efforts in advancing industrial development and rural governance, further narrowing the urban-rural disparity, and promoting the integration of urban-rural development.

Lou also went to Dongguan Street in Yangzhou to investigate business development, and urged authorities to offer assistance to industries and SMEs hit hard by the outbreak.
In the inspection tour, Lou also said it’s necessary to safeguard the progress in combating the outbreak, support the full return to economic growth, boost confidence of entrepreneurs, and make new strides in overcoming the risks and challenges.
