The third session of the 12th CPPCC Jiangsu Committee opened in Nanjing City on the morning of January 14, when Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, delievered a speech.
The meeting also reviewed and approved the agenda, heard the work report by the standing committee of the the 12th CPPCC Jiangsu Committee and a report on the implementation of key proposals since the second session.
The meeting also included the attendance of 15 overseas Chinese representatives from 15 Latin American and African countries along the Belt and Road initiative. Many of those who attended the meeting for the first time said they hope to better understand Jiangsu’s development and make their own contributuions.
