Jiangsu Football City League has drawn 38 bln yuan in consumer spending

The 2025 Jiangsu Football City League has generated 38 billion yuan in consumer spending across the province, the General Administration of Sport of China announced on August 19.

Comprising 13 city teams, the provincial amateur league has become one of the most popular sporting events in China this summer. According to the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, during the Nanjing team’s home matches between August 15 and 17, a total of 87 venues across the city live-streamed the games, attracting more than 7.1 million visits, a 13% increase year-on-year. Sales during this period exceeded 4 billion yuan, up 10% from last year.

Logistics platform Yunmanman also reported that Nantong,the current leader in the league standings, ranked first in the province for football-related deliveries.
