The launch ceremony of the Jiangsu Cultural Industry Development Association took place at the Jiangsu Centre for the Performing Arts in Nanjing on January 31.

The establishment of the association is a major step towards the cultural industry’s high-quality development and an innovative effort to construct a robust cultural market system.

Initiated by six entitles, including the Jiangsu Cultural Investment & Management Group and Phoenix Publishing & Media Group, the association has received support from 84 organizations, enterprises and think tanks across the province.

The ceremony also announced an evaluation system for the integrated development of humanities and economy, along with the province’s achievements in this endeavor. These accomplishments include a holistic development strategy combining culture, tourism and business, cultural creations that draw inspirations from the province’s heritage, and creative products that highlight intangible cultural heritage.

These practices not only showcase the unique Jiangnan charms but also contribute significantly to various sectors such as culture, tourism, sports, commerce and people's wellbeing.
