A news media delegation organized by the All-China Journalists Association and Mongolia Journalists Association completed their visits to Jiangsu Province on July 2.

The delegation included journalists from Mongolian National Broadcaster and the country's newspaper Today. In Suzhou, Nantong and Nanjing cities, they learned about efforts towards high-quality development, scientific and technological innovation, environmental protection, urban governance, and other subjects.

The Intelligent Control Center of the Yangtze River Delta Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Demonstration Zone showcases Suzhou's achievements in building an industry hub for self-driving companies. Journalists also had the opportunity to ride in a driverless car on real city roads.

On June 30, the group visited Lvsi Terminal, a new gateway to the ocean in Nantong's Tongzhou Bay. The journalists were impressed by the port area in Nantong and its clear plan for the future, including strong efforts in applying artificial intelligence and ensuring security.

In Nanjing's Xiaoxihu area, which began urban regeneration in 2015, the ancient architecture from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties left a deep impression on the journalists. The renovated area with small lanes serves as an example of balancing tourism development with the preservation of historic characters, attracting many tourists. This renovation process fully respected residents' wishes and implemented gradual improvements. In 2022, the project received recognition from the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation program.

During their visit to Gree Electric Appliance (Nanjing) Co Ltd, the group showed interest in household appliances featuring innovation.
