Public transport service providers from Madrid, Hamburg and Nanjing had a video meeting on the afternoon of April 14.

The meeting was co-organized by Jiangsu International Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation Centre, the service center of Societies of Jiangsu, and the Jiangsu Comprehensive Transportation Society.

Representatives of the public transport sector from the three cities held discussions over comprehensive data management, mobility monitoring, and optimal transport solution in the context of COVID-19 spread. They also exchanged ideas to cope with operation pressure and unemployment in the sector.

Jiangsu has accumulated rich experiences in organizing online international exchanges. The province kicked off the initiative to develop a live streaming platform in 2017 and now can broadcast live events, held offline, for audience to watch through mobile devices in real time.
