Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine shared experiences in fighting COVID-19 by using TCM during a video conference with European Academy of Traditional Medical Science on April 15.

In the meeting, Wang Weixiang, advisory council member of the Netherlands Association of Chinese Medicine, introduced the pandemic development outside China. His speech was followed by Professor Fang Zhuyuan, Party chief of the Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a talk on the use of TCM in domestic COVID-19 response.

Professor Shi Suofang, deputy head of the makeshift hospital in Wuhan's Jiangxia District and also chief physician at the Respiratory Medicine Department of the Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine talked about the use of TCM at the makeshift hospital as well as for patients with minor or serious symptoms.

The meeting also answered questions from overseas Chinese.
