Jiangsu Health Commission facilitated the sharing of COVID-19 response practices with medical professionals in Belarus and Poland on April 16.
During a video meeting at the commission’s emergency command center, Liu Bo, associate chief physician at the Infection Control Department of Jiangsu People’s Hospital and also a member of China Emergency Medical Rescue Team, demonstrated the proper ways to put on and take off protective clothing to medical workers in Mogilev Region in Belarus.
To increase international cooperation, medical experts of the province also held video conferences with counterparts in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, a province in Poland, and Mogilev Region, sharing Jiangsu’s experiences in COVID-19 prevention, control, patient diagnosis and treatment.
Experts from Jiangsu People's Hospital, Nanjing Gulou Hospital, Zhongda Hospital Southeast University, and the Acute Infectious Disease Institute of the Jiangsu Center for Disease Control and Prevention joined the over three-hour video meeting that also covered topics of virus detection and medical work protocols.
