The 2024 National Youth AI Innovation and Practice Exhibition, held in Nanjing from November 22 to 24, showcased over 400 projects selected from across the nation.
Initiated in April, the event released learning and practice guides, courses, and teaching cases to support young people in using AI to explore and solve real-world problems.
It received over 10,000 entries from students and teachers across 31 provincial-level regions, Hong Kong and Macao.
The exhibition highlighted more than 400 of these works covering diverse scenarios, such as smart door systems for the elderly, abnormal driving alert systems, and multi-functional forest firefighting vehicles. There were also AI interactive designs that incorporated Chinese traditional festivals, intangible cultural heritage, and tourism.
During the event, tech clubs from six universities in Nanjing also shared AI technological progress through physical displays and presentations to inspire younger students.
