The Jiangsu National Centre for Applied Mathematics (Southeast University) has recently been officially inaugurated, one of the first batch of 13 facilities supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Southeast University is renowned for its engineering disciplines and enjoys R&D advantages in the fields of information technology, computer, transportation, architecture and civil engineering.
The new center is expected to promote cross-disciplinary research and meet the needs from emerging fields such as artificial intelligence. It will focus on applied mathematics in three directions including information and communications technology, intelligent control system, and data science.
