Nanjing opened a food festival featuring specialties of different ethnic groups at the north square of the Confucius Temple on July 15.
The festival was jointly organized by the Nanjing Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Qinhuai District Committee, the Qinhuai District Commerce Bureau and the Management Committee of the Confucius Temple and Qinhuai Scenic Area.
The event represented a concrete action to co-ordinate COVID-19 response with efforts of economic and social development. It aimed to help ease operation burdens of enterprises hit by the pandemic and promote the sales of specialty food through more channels.
The event saw the launch of a program which combines on-site and online efforts to help companies market their products and services and stay connected with customers.
