The first Global University Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition was launched in Taicang of Suzhou, as the city steps up efforts to attract more talent.

Open to famous universities at home and abroad, the event focuses on three fields - aerospace, biomedicine and digital economy, and aim to have the participation of at least 300 promising projects initiated by students.

The event also highlights Taicang’s talent support policy including incentives and streamlined governmental services. Taicang pledges to offer one-to-one incubation support to programs and start-up teams that plan to settle in the city.
