Wuxi City of Jiangsu Province has recently released a talent introduction plan, which consists of 12 preferential measures, to help the city attract global talent.

The scheme aims to push forward the development of 16 advanced manufacturing industrial clusters as well as the future development of four industrial clusters.

Wuxi will focus on supporting about 100 innovative and entrepreneurial teams in the city, up 30 percent than that of the previous year. The maximum fund provided to the most promising individuals or teams ranges from 5 million yuan to 100 million yuan.

In particular, the winning medical expert teams at three levels – top, high-end and outstanding- will receive the fund of 15 million yuan, 10 million yuan and 5 million yuan, respectively. Wuxi will also provide life services to them such as subsidies in housing, health care, and children's education.

The city will also earmark 20 million yuan to further support the talent introduction programs, introduced by various employers. Enterprises that have attracted great talent and made outstanding economic and social benefits will be get one-off award of 100,000 yuan.
