The 28th Nanjing International Plum Blossom Festival, hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Government, opened at the city's Meihuashan (Plum Blossom Hill) on February 13.
Organized by the Nanjing Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Administration, the month-long festival includes 36 activities in the scenic area that has more than 40,000 plum trees of nearly 400 varieties.

These activities include live broadcasting of the flowers, DIY craft workshops, relics in China's resistance war against Japanese aggression, and exhibition of calligraphy works and the life of Sun Yat-sen, great forerunner of China's democratic revolution.
There will be four more direct bus services to reach Meihuashan in the festival too.
