China Eastern Airlines resumed 1,637 flights on July 3, the highest daily record since April this year.
China’s civil aviation reported a steady recovery after Shanghai accelerated its reopening amid progress in combating COVID-19 outbreaks.
The airline’s Jiangsu subsidiary managed to resume average 210 flights per day during the period from June 19 to July 3.
China Eastern Airlines is expected to bring back more flight service and the flights between Beijing and Shanghai will rise to 22 per day by mid-July.
