From January to June this year, Nanjing Customs took the national lead by issuing 56,200 certificates of origin involving 15.89 billion yuan of exported goods under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) free trade agreement, marking a year-on-year increase of 11.40% and 0.29% respectively.

The province’s importers have also benefited from the RCEP agreement, aiding the upgrade of the manufacturing sector.

Customs authorities have implemented various measures to help companies make the most of RECP benefits. Xinshengwei Customs House, under Nanjing Customs, has organized RCEP policy promotion and training sessions for foreign trade enterprises.

According to Nanjing Customs, Jiangsu's trade with other RCEP member countries reached 960.18 billion yuan in the first half of this year, representing a 7.2% increase year-on-year and accounting for 35.8% of the province’s total foreign trade.
