The 2023 Industrial Internet Conference, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, was held in Suzhou City from June 14 to 16.

The conference showcased exemplary 5G application practices and the use of 5G URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications) technology in the automotive industry, which increases flexibility in the production and assembly processes.

Academicians, experts, and industry leaders also engaged in discussions on the trends and development paths of the industrial Internet.

In Jiangsu, 12 companies have been recognized as national-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories, and there are three leading digital transformation companies at national level. Suzhou Industrial Park also became the first in Jiangsu to receive the honor of being one of China's new types of industrialization demonstration bases in the category of industrial Internet. Furthermore, the province has established two national-level experience centers and two application centers for industrial internet platform innovation.

Looking ahead, Jiangsu plans to continue promoting 5G coverage and strives to become a leading region in innovative 5G application. Efforts will also be made to advance the digital transformation of enterprises, such as establishing intelligent workshops and factories.

Besides, Jiangsu will create a regular mechanism for network security management among industrial Internet enterprises, pilot the safe application of industrial Internet, and promote the high-quality development of the digital economy.
