Jiangsu is home to 13 of 137 leading industrial Internet projects recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, ranking first among provincial-level regions in China.

The ministry's recognition focuses on six fields of industrial internet including design, digital management, intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, customization and outreach services. The list is expected to promote the extensive application of such best practices.

Jiangsu has three projects including one by Changshu Switch Manufacturing Co Ltd honored in the digital management category, which mainly evolves the digital transformation of managing the supply chain relationships.

Seven projects in Jiangsu companies including Nanjing Iron and Steel Co Ltd were named for progress in the intelligent manufacturing, which means the digital transformation of the entire manufacturing process to improve real-time analysis and scientific decision-making for better efficiency and quality.

Jiangsu also has two services outreach projects including one by Daqo Group recognized on the list. This means an innovative service model to better align with remote operation, maintenance and support.

Wuxi-based Angelalign Technology also made it to the list in the customization category that mainly involves precise analysis of user needs, tailored design, flexible production, intelligent storage and just-in-time delivery.
