China's new epidemic prevention and control measures have inspired recovery confidence of tourism and civil aviation industries as more people are planning to travel or go home for the upcoming Spring Festival holiday.

China Eastern Airlines operated 42 international and 1,379 domestic flights with a total of nearly 140,000 passengers on December 12, up 150% and 140% compared with the number of domestic flights and passengers earlier this month.

This marked a rapid recovery since the start of the summer flight schedule, especially for domestic passengers.

After the adjustment of the epidemic prevention and control policy, demand for domestic air tickets started to rise on the afternoon of December 7, with the number of tickets sold up 23.4% than one day ago and 100.7% than one month ago.
